Vs30 Seismic Survey
Municon offers Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW), through VS30 site classification, to measure seismic surface waves to determine shear-wave velocity variations (VS) of the subsurface. The shear-wave velocity profiles (in one, two or three dimensions) can be used for different purposes, e.g., to determine seismic site classes for seismic site response, elastic moduli of soil and rock, liquefaction potential, compaction and grouting evaluation.
