TIP (Thermal Integrity Piling)

Thermal Integrity Profiling (TIP) uses the heat generated by curing cement (hydration energy) to assess the integrity of deep foundations. Thermal wire cables are installed on the pile or foundation element. Dataloggers are connected to the wire strings to send data remotely continuously. Once the pile is lowered, data is collected continuously. The peak or maximum time stamp is analyzed to note any anomalies or deficiencies observed.
